Standard Storage Buildings
Salt Wood Products, Inc. has been involved in the construction of top quality, affordable storage buildings since 1995.
The prepriced standard delivered buildings are the mainstay of Salt Wood Products, Inc. These buildings are available in sizes from 6' x 8' to 16' x 24.' These buildings can be manufactured in our facility in Kinston, NC and delivered to the customer's specified lot.
Our Standard Buildings have the following features:
- Pressure-treated 4x4 runners that support the building on the ground
- 2x4 or 2x6 pressure-treated joists spaced 12" on center
- 5/8" underlayment plywood floor
- 2x4 studs spaced 16" on center
- (2) 2x4 studs spaced where siding joins
- (3) 2x4 studs placed in each corner of the building
- (4) types of siding can be selected: 5/8" pressure treated T111, Painted Lap, Painted "Smart Panel" and vinyl
- Double top plate installed in wall on 12' wide buildings
- Single hung windows with screen in 16" x 24" or 24" x 26" sizes
- Doors have (3) hinges per door and T handle lock
- Doors are braced and reinforced
- 6" overhang is on every side of the building
- Roof trusses are spaced 24" on center
- 7/16" OSB is used as roof sheathing
- #15 felt is placed over the OSB
- 25 year shingles are used
- Metal roof edging is used on (4) sides of roof
- 8" x 16" vents are placed on each gable or roof
Standard On-Site Buildings
The prepriced standard onsite buildings are built identical to the delivered buildings but are built on the customer's specified lot where it is not possible to deliver by truck. These buildings can be built anywhere it is possible to have a building crew construct the building.

The standard building features the following warranties:
- Lifetime warranty on floor
- 25-year wor lifetime warranty on siding
- 25-year warranty on roof shingles
- 3-year workmanship warranty
